Senior Tour News:  06/30/2009

Item:  The Final Leaderboard for Dick's Sporting Goods Open is posted.  Congrats to Lee and Sarge for the win (Tie).  Also the Money List and Averages are updated.

ITEM:   VERY IMPORTANT TOUR NEWS!!!!!!   I will not be running any more tournaments.  I just have too much to do with my upcoming move.  After I post these updates I will be zipping all the tour files and sending them off to 2 of our members who will be running the tour from now on.  There will be a delay in play until they get a new site up and running.  I will be leaving this site up until the new one is ready and provide a link to it here in the news section.  It has been fun while it lasted and I have made many friends whom I will never forget.  GBC has provided so many good times.  But with some sadness it is time to move on.  I wish everyone good luck and happiness always.  Sincerely, Jason "Muad'Dib" Rhodes.

Item:  The rules have been amended to take account of the addition of offline play and the reporting of scores.  PLEASE BE SURE TO READ RULE #10 to see just how scores are to be reported.  If you have any questions pertaining to rule #10 NOW IS THE TIME TO ASK.   I have gotten hold of a handicap program that will track handicaps and averages for up to 100 golfers.  This is what I will be using for everyone's handicap.  It will give out handicaps starting with the first 2 rounds.  So there is no need to send me your GBC in-game handicap.  The leaderboard will be changed to show each golfer's handicap, and net score.  If anyone at any time questions the scores, averages, or handicaps, I have the capability of sending out a copy of the data in a spreadsheet and will be happy to do so.
